Ginger Goodness! How to make Ginger Tea!

  • Fresh Ginger

  1. I cut off about an inch or so of fresh ginger root, use as much or as little as you like.
  2. I have a small/fine grater that I use to grate it directly into a mug,.
  3. I then fill the mug with boiling water, cover the top of the mug with a small plate and leave it to steep for as long as I like. When I am ready to drink it, I simply strain the tea by pouring it into another mug that has a small strainer over the top and voila, you have ginger tea.
  4. Add honey to taste.
